    David Gilmour's "About Face" is a glimpse of what the "Final Cut" could have been, had only David Gilmour some input on the final product. This was released at about the same time as Roger Waters' solo album "The Pros & Cons of Hitchhiking", and I find the Gilmour solo project more listenable/5().

    There are some gems on here if you can get over the 80's sound. Gilmour's previous self titled release was a decent record and this is a great follow up. I think there is more variety of styles and songs compared to the previous record. I only recently started listening to About Face and find myself liking it .

    David Gilmour released his second solo venture in , following the apparent dissolution of Pink singderxigeboufunk.reclmutatregoldsyrehamanfudiddmo.co had released a record on his own in , but About Face is much more accessible. Gilmour has a stellar band backing him, including Jeff Porcaro (drums), Pino Palladino (bass), and Anne Dudley (synthesizer). The songs on About Face show a pop sensibility that Pink Floyd rarely was.
